Nerf War Rules For

Kill Confirmed

Player Count:

8+

Playing Time:

15 Min

Age:

12+

Untested

Game Designer:

Unknown (Call of Duty?)

Description:

This is similar to Team Deathmatch where your goal is to tag the other team but adds a new interesting twist. In this game players are not instantly eliminated or forced to go respawn but rather are frozen in place until either a friendly or enemy player tags them with their hand; being forced to tag someone with your hand forces players to move rather than campout which can make things interesting. This can be played with two or more teams.

Quick Reference Rules:

  1. When you are tagged freeze in place and raise your hand

  2. To unfreeze a teammate place a hand on them for 3 seconds and then yell “Clear”. Once cleared by a teammate you resume play as normal

  3. To confirm a kill you must tag a frozen enemy player with your hand. The kill is confirmed the instant that your hand touches them.

Elimination Variant:

  1. Each player has 1 life but can be frozen and unfrozen an infinite number of times.

  2. A player loses their life when an enemy player is able to confirm that they have been killed.

  3. Game ends when there is only one team with players still alive.

Respawn Orb Variant:

  1. When a player is confirmed as being killed they return to their respawn and remove one of their respawn orbs from the bin. Once all respawn orbs have been removed from the bin the game is over and that team loses.

  2. Players may respawn as long as they were able to remove a respawn orb. 15 second respawn.

Detailed Rules

Am I allowed to talk while frozen?

Yes, you can call for help, tell your teammates what the other team is doing and talk about anything else your heart desires.

What if two players tag each other at the same time?

Awesome, you just made a trade and you are both frozen.

Can there be a tie?

It’s possible. If the last two unfrozen players shoot each other at the same time this could result in a tie. In case of a tie, I suggest just celebrating in your shared victory and starting a new game. If you really want a tie breaker then I would suggest having a shoot off.

For Elimination, what do I do once eliminated?

Take a break and prep for the next game.

For the Respawn Orb variant, do I have to remove an orb if it’s the last one?

Yes. You must remove the orb as soon as you are confirmed as being killed. If it’s the last one then the game ends and the other team wins.

About Me

I only recently made the switch to being a Nerf/ Foam enthusiast back in 2018. Rather than modding Nerf blasters, I found my real passion was in the creation of game modes.
