Description:
This is a combination of kill confirmed, conversion and regicide (VIP) with a little Harry Potter theme. Each team designates one of their players as their VIP (Witch or Wizard) who has the ability to convert enemy players to their team (i.e. place the imperius curse on them). In this game players are not instantly forced to go respawn when tagged but rather are frozen (i.e. they are hit by the Locomotor Mortis curse) until either a friendly player tags them with their hand or the enemy VIP tags them with their hand. If the enemy VIP tags them then they change teams and must now fight for the VIP who tagged them.
Quick Reference Rules:
Designate VIP’s for each team so that everyone knows who they are.
When you are shot you freeze in place and raise your hand
To unfreeze a teammate place a hand on them for 3 seconds and then yell “Clear”. Once cleared by a teammate you must go respawn.
If a VIP tags a frozen enemy player with their hand they are instantly converted to that VIP’s team and must swap out team colors and go respawn with the new team. The VIP does not need to count to 3 to convert someone.
Infinite lives. 10 second respawn.
The game ends when one VIP is able to convert the other team's VIP.
Detailed Rules
Am I allowed to talk while frozen?
Yes, you can call for help, tell your teammates what the other team is doing and talk about anything else your heart desires.
Can the VIP unfreeze friendly players?
Yes, but they have no special ability for their own players and must count to 3 and yell clear like everyone else.
Can you unfreeze your VIP?
Yes, VIP’s are unfrozen like any other player.
What if someone yells clear right before the VIP tags that person with their hand?
The VIP missed their opportunity and that person is allowed to respawn.
Am I allowed to shoot someone who has just been unfrozen to prevent them from returning to the respawn?
No, they are now waiting to respawn so shooting them doesn’t do any good.
What if someone gets shot while counting?
They are frozen in place and both they and the person they were trying to save must be unfrozen like normal.
What if two players shoot each other at the same time?
Awesome, you just made a trade and you are both frozen.
Can there be a tie?
It’s possible. If the last two unfrozen players shoot each other at the same time this could result in a tie. In case of a tie, I suggest just celebrating in your shared victory and start a new game. If you really want a tie breaker then I would suggest having a shoot off.
